The CCA Business Insurance Program offers a full range of complementary coverages specifically designed to meet the practice needs of our members. CCA has partnered with BMS Canada Risk Services Ltd. (BMS) to deliver the CCA Business Insurance Program, which provides access to comprehensive and cost-effective insurance solutions including:

  • Commercial General Liability | French Brochure: Sometimes referred to as “Slip and fall” insurance, protects against claims arising from injury or property damage to a third party that you or your business may cause to another person because of your operations and/or premises.
  • Clinic Package (Commercial General Liability, Contents, Crime, & Business Interruption) | French Brochure: For those operating a business with contents or property to insure, this comprehensive package including Commercial General Liability coverage, Property Insurance, Crime protection, and Business Interruption.
  • Clinic Professional Liability | French Brochure: Provides a separate limit of liability to protect your business assets in the event that your business name is included in a statement of claim or lawsuit. In the event of an incident, a patient will most likely name not only the treating therapist, but also your business as the larger provider of services.
  • Cyber Security & Privacy Liability | French Brochure: Protects against claims arising out of theft, loss, or unauthorized disclosure of a third party’s personally identifiable information. Coverage is designed to manage the risk of holding increasingly large quantities of personally identifiable data of clients, employees, and others, and to mitigate the reputational damage resulting from a data security breach.
  • Employment Practices Liability | French Brochure: For business owners with employees, contractors or volunteers this solution protects against allegations of employment practice violation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, workplace harassment, and others.
  • Legal Services Package | French Brochure: Access to a legal helpline for personal and/or business matters as well as a legal document library and review service.
  • Legal Expense Insurance | French Brochure: Coverage for legal defence and pursuit costs for a wide range of personal or business matters, including property, tax, and personal injury.
